Program Syllabus
Week 1: Overview and Business Set Up
Complete Modules 1-4 in the REI Quick Start Program (Get the details on the Program here: http://www.reiquickstart.com)
On a group call we will discuss and review the Self Assessment template and the steps to get your business set up properly.
Your Action Steps for Week 1 will be to complete the Self Assessment and the Business Set Up steps.
We will review your progress on a 1-1 call at the end of Week 1.
Week 2: Understanding Wholesaling
Complete Modules 5-7 in the REI Quick Start Program
On a group call we will discuss and review the Business Plan template and get your questions answered on how to complete it.
Your Action Step for Week 2 is to complete the Business Plan based on your Self Assessment and what you leaned about wholesaling.
We will review your progress on a 1-1 call at the end of Week 2.
Week 3: Finding And Processing Leads
Complete Modules 8-9 in the REI Quick Start Program
On a group call we will walk through my lead source, and I’ll give you my login and password to access the actual leads. You’ll have access to this source via my login information until the end of the six week program.
I’ll show you how to process the leads into letters and envelopes using my letter sequence and templates, and we’ll discuss screening the leads as well.
Your Action Step for Week 3 is to analyze and process 10 leads into letters, get the leads into the tracking spreadsheet that I will provide, and get the letters in the mail. By the end of this week you will know how to process your own leads.
We will review your progress on a 1-1 call at the end of Week 3.
Week 4: Building Your Wholesale Buyer List
Complete Module 14 in the REI Quick Start Program. (We’re going out of order, but I want to get you started on this so you have buyers lined up)
On a group call we will walk through the process of finding wholesale buyers and getting them lined up to receive your deal information.
Your Action Step for Week 4 will be to start marketing heavily for wholesale buyers using the sources and techniques that you’ll learn in Module 14.
We will review your progress on a 1-1 call at the end of Week 4.
Week 5: Talking to Sellers, Visiting Houses, and Analyzing Deals
Complete Modules 10-12 in the REI Quick Start Program
On a group call we will walk through the process of fielding calls from your letter campaign, making the appointment to see the house, and the process of visiting the house and evaluating it as a deal. We’ll also discuss the math in terms of the formulas you need to use to compute your offer price.
Your Action Steps for Week 5 are to get caught up on any of the Action Steps you haven’t completed yet, and plan out your schedule for processing leads and sending letters.
We will review your progress on a 1-1 call at the end of Week 5.
Week 6: Getting the Deal Under Contract, The Assignment Process, and Getting Paid
Complete Modules 13, 15, 16 in the REI Quick Start Program
On a group call we will walk through the process of getting the deal under contract. We’ll also walk through the process and paperwork for assigning a deal to a wholesale buyer and getting paid.
Your Action Steps for Week 6 are to have your purchase agreement and assignment contract reviewed by an attorney.
